Applying for a rental apartment
Submit a rental application using the electronic form here. The application is signed electronically either with bank IDs or a mobile certificate. We always check applicants’ creditworthiness.
Taking possession of the apartment
Before the rental agreement comes into effect, the tenant must pay a security deposit equivalent to two months’ rent to the landlord’s account. We also require that the liability portion of the home insurance is paid for at least one year in advance. The keys to the apartment will only be handed over once these two matters are in order.
Moving in
After moving in, submit a change of address notification to the maintenance company (see the list here). This ensures you are registered as a resident and your name is updated on the door and notice board.
Housing
The resident agrees to comply with the landlord’s general residency guidelines (PDF file, 341 KB)
Rent payment
Rent is paid according to the information on the rent payment receipts provided by the landlord. Direct debit is not currently available in our system.

The notice period for a lease agreement is calculated from the last day of the calendar month during which the termination was made, unless otherwise agreed or stipulated by this or other laws. When the tenant terminates the lease agreement, the notice period is one month (tenant’s notice period). Unchanged: The notice period for a lease agreement is calculated from the last day of the calendar month during which the termination was made, unless otherwise agreed or stipulated by this or other laws. When the tenant terminates the lease agreement, the notice period is one month (tenant’s notice period).
